The skin scraping therapy of GuaSha goes back over 2,000 years. The implements (GuaSha Tools) predate the use of any oral medications or other forms of treatment. There are debates about, if it originated in China or another Asian country, but there are written documents dating back to 200bc that specifically mention the art of GuaSha being used in China to scrape away complaints and/or disease from the body.

WHAT IS GUASHA?
It is the art of using a round-edged implement/instrument for the purpose of scraping the skin by stroking in specific directions with sufficient pressure to produce an effect to alleviate symptoms.Best described in Western terms:
